Syllabus: Introduction and overview of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM); theory and practice of HR; the role and process of HR planning; job analysis and design; recruitment and selection; managing and appraising performance; rewarding and developing human resources (HRD) and career planning; health and safety at work; managing change and conflict; diversity; ethics and socially responsible management; HR strategies in the international context; assessing the effectiveness of SHRM.
