Syllabus: | Students plan an independent research project (qualitative or quantitative) in the area of nutrition and dietetics. The unit provides students with the skills to conduct research in dietetics: focus group methodology, nutrition screening and assessment. The topics covered are research methodology, literature reviews, preparation of a scientific research proposal, ethics application skills and statistical analysis. Students will develop and present a research proposal relevant to nutrition and dietetics practice. |
